A Time for Care is licensed, insured, bonded, and provides worker’s compensation. The state of Illinois requires a fingerprinted National FBI background check for each caregiver employed so you can rest assured that your senior loved ones are receiving the trusted care that they need.

2. Do A Time for Care’s senior caregivers provide medical assistance?

While our elder caregivers may have experience in the medical field, we are not medical care providers. We cannot provide medical assistance, but we can provide medication reminders and contact your loved one’s doctors or nurses in case of a medical emergency.

3. Are there caregivers for diabetes management?

We do not do diabetes management but we can reinforce any doctors’ or nurses’ orders.

4. How many caregivers are provided for live-in care?

Since live-in care concerns the well-being of your elderly loved one 24 hours a day, seven days a week, we typically provide at least two caregivers to be with your senior around the clock.

5. What education do the elderly home caregivers have?

Our senior caregivers have at least a high school diploma and often higher for education. However, all of our at-home and live-in senior caregivers have completed training and other certifications to be able to properly provide and care for your elderly loved ones.

6. How much experience do the at-home senior care providers have?

A Time for Care’s live-in, hourly, and respite senior caregivers all require a minimum of 7-10 years of experience working with the elderly and managing households.

There is no time factor, as A Time for Care is completely flexible to meet the needs of you and your elderly loved ones. We like to set up consistent schedules to provide the best care opportunities for your senior loved ones, as well as ensure that a dedicated elder care provider will always be available to fit your needs.
